DESCRIPTION:

  • BC547 is a NPN general-purpose Bipolar NPN transistors in TO-92 package, designed for use in driver stage of audio amplifier.
  • when the base pin is held at ground and will be closed (Forward biased) when a signal is provided to base pin  Bi-Polar NPN Transistor.
  • DC Current Gain (hFE) is 800 maximum
  • Continuous Collector current (IC) is 100mA
  • Emitter Base Voltage (VBE) is 6V
  • Base Current(IB) is 5mA maximum
  • BC547 is a bipolar junction transistor (BJT).
  • It is kind of an NPN transistor.
  • It has three terminals: Emitter, Collector and Base.
  • The maximum current gain of BC547 is 800A.
  • The Emitter-Base voltage is 8V.
  • BC547 is usually used for current amplifier, quick switching and pulse-width modulation (PWM).
